Sneak Peeks: Lucas. Newborn. {Columbus Baby Photographer}

We helped welcome this little man into the world yesterday. How adorable is he? Once we finally got him asleep we breezed through the session… he was cuddly and peaceful for almost the entire time. Couldn’t have asked for a better session. Congratulation’s to his parents – we have loved working with you through this special time and hope to see you and this little guy soon!

Big thanks to Chrissy, of The Pink Woobie for providing us with the adorable crochet beanie’s we used during this session.

Session Peeks: Logan & Nolan. Engagement Photos. {Columbus Wedding and Engagement Photographer}

Friday evening we headed downtown for a super fun engagement session with Logan and Nolan! We started down in the Arena District where Logan works {with Amy’s husband, Alex – actually!} and roamed around there for awhile. We then went to the Scioto Mile, which was fun because we hadn’t shot there before. Such a fun location and it provided a really cool backdrop of the city scape. At the end we went to a little park by their home where we included their German Shepard pup, Watson. Logan and Nolan were a great couple to work with – it was so clear how in love with each other they are! Congrats to them and we wish them a long, beautiful life together!

New Hours and Scheduling Options

As we enter a new school year, things will be changing a bit around my house and therefore changing around here, too. My youngest son will be entering Kindergarten in a couple short weeks (sniff!) and being that my oldest son goes to an Autism school requiring us to transport him to and from school, my schedule will be changing a bit.

I will no longer be scheduling morning photo sessions during the week, however, I will be available for morning sessions on the weekends and Jackie will be available to conduct ordering sessions in the mornings. I am trying to work out a way to allow for morning photo sessions one day a week but as of right now, that hasn’t been finalized.

I realize this isn’t ideal but please be patient with us as we try to work it out. This whole half-day kindergarten thing is killing me! 🙂

Faces of Autism Project/Columbus Arts Ball

Were you one of the 1000s of people who happened to catch me on the NBC 4 newscast last week? Yep, that was me…talking about my artwork and my son, Chasen. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing and I was just supposed to talk for a brief minute about my artwork btu the story kind of evolved into a great story about our life with an autistic child. Chasen loved seeing his photos on the news!

(You can check out the news clip on our facebook page.)

The Columbus Arts Ball was this past Saturday and I am thrilled to say that my puzzle piece was purchased by a dear friend (after quite the bidding war!) who is planning on donating the piece to Nationwide Children’s Hospital!! How awesome is that?! I can’t wait to see it installed and up for everyone to see.
